Assessment of post-diagnostic support for parents of children with ASD

I am an MSc Student of Research Methods in Psychology at Swansea University, and currently I am conducting research for my dissertation.

Parental stress can affect treatment outcomes in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Using an internet-based survey, this study aims to gather information from parents of children with ASD regarding parental stress and health, and the child’s symptoms and behaviours in relation to follow-up information and support given to parents by medical professionals upon receiving the official ASD diagnosis. Overall satisfaction with follow-up support can be assessed (and possibly new ideas suggested), as well as assessing whether receiving satisfactory (or unsatisfactory) levels of post-diagnostic support has an effect on parental wellbeing and/or child behaviours and symptoms

This survey should take approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.

If people could also please share this link, that would be amazing. It’s pretty hard finding busy parents who can take the time to fill out such a long survey! Thanks =)
