We are seeking a enthusiastic, energetic and understanding therapist to help start a home based son-rise programme for 5 year old Rosie. Rosie displays autistic tendencies and will request things using single words. Rosie loves to sing nursery rhymes and is a very bright and happy little girl. She also enjoys listening to music (Elvis Presley is currently a firm favourite), physical play such as tickles, squishes and spinning. Rosie is very tactile but does not have any sensory issues. Her son-rise programme focuses on relationship building and we are looking for a play companion to enable Rosie to do this. The sessions will be 2 hours long and ideally would be done 5 days a week. Rosie has a younger brother called Daniel 3, all though Rosie will be your main focus at times mum may ask you to spend time with Daniel to enable her to do a session with Rosie. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your own knowledge and be involved in the start of a programme to really help Rosie develop. We are looking for someone to work a minimum of 4 hours per week with a maximum of 10 hours available.
