Short documentary film about sensory overload

Are you diagnosed with an ASD or are you the parent or carer of someone who is diagnosed with an ASD?I’m a documentary director and I’m making a 3 minute film about sensory overload. The film will be shown at the Sheffield Documentary festival in June 2016, and is part of a Channel 4 competition for new directors, called First Cut Pitch. If the film is successful it could be developed into a one hour documentary to be broadcast on Channel 4. I'd like to speak to people about their experiences of sensory overload and which situations are particularly difficult - especially in regards to public transport and public places. I'd love to talk to parents of children with ASDs as well as children, young people or adults who are themselves diagnosed with ASDs. If you are interested it would be great if you could get in touch. All research conversations would be confidential and are aimed at helping me understand this area better - they do not commit anyone to being involved in any filming. I’m an experienced documentary director and producer who has worked on BAFTA and Royal Television Society-nominated programmes for the BBC and Channel 4.
