Dear all, I am an MSc Psychology student at the University of Hertfordshire, currently running a short study interested in the experiences of parenting a child with an Autism Spectrum Disorder. If you are interested in taking part, you would be asked to fill in a series of questionnaires, then complete a writing task for 20 minutes over 3 consecutive days, then asked to complete some further questionnaires. This writing technique has been used in Health Psychology with carers of people with various different illnesses and needs, and seems to be helpful in reducing some stress in carers. The study can be completed at home and all responses would be kept confidential.Any interested parents would need to be at least 18 years old, have English as a spoken language, and have a child or adolescent with a diagnosis of an Autism Spectrum Disorder. If you are interested in taking part or just finding out more please contact me at: cathrynherts@gmail.comThis study has received ethical approval from the University of Hertfordshire (Ethics committee Registration Protocol Number: LMS/PG/UH/00039).Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.Kind regards,Cathryn
