      Hi everyone,

I am a Master’s student at Swansea University. As part of my dissertation, I am conducting research on unconventional interview formats and their suitability for the autistic population. As someone on the spectrum myself, I, as well as many others, have struggled to acclimate to conventional, face-to-face interviews as part of the hiring process and beyond. Since the pandemic began, new interview formats have risen in popularity, such as the asynchronous interview. While untested on the autistic population, some of these formats strike me as being particularly promising for ameliorating the stresses and anxieties which often come with the process. Ultimately, I am seeking autistic participants to get involved in a project designed to test these assumptions, with the aim to push for more inclusive practices in interviewing contexts.

During each interview we will ask you simple questions about your experiences during the Covid-19 pandemic. You will later be asked to reflect on the experience. All participants will receive a £5 Amazon Gift Voucher.

If you are interested and want to find out more, then please contact the lead researcher at 2020570@swansea.ac.uk
Or the project’s supervisor at j.g.noble@swansea.ac.uk

This research has been approved by the Research Ethics Committee, College of Human and Health Sciences, Swansea University.

      Thanks for your time.
