      Hi all, I'm new here!I have 5 children, 4 boys and 1 girl. my DS4, Shay is nearly 4yrs old and has been confirmed as on the autism spectrum. We got 2 kittens just before xmas and shay has taken to them so well and absolutely adores them, problem is, he has chronic asthma and is starting to show signs of allergy towards them. we are worrying that we will have to rehome the kittens, but it will absolutely break his little heart and is breaking mine just thinking about it. how do you tell a child who doesn't understand??i know i could try and explain that they are making him sick but he will be devastated :'( :'(any advice greatly welcome, thanksLisa x
