Note: SFTAH transferred this from old data base when site was updated, thus date and name lost, all dates 2006 & 2007 changed during changeover to odd dates.I was recently sent a copy of a new book called "Look Me in the Eye" by John Elder Robison. It is an amazing and very funny account of Johns life. Here is someone that was growing up in some very odd circumstances at a time when Asperger Syndrome was not described and it took the intervention of a friend to step in and say "I think you should read this......"Told "as it was" this story describes the thoughts actions and feelings of an "Aspie" and many will be able to identify with Johns life.I also thought this book would be a very useful tool for showing people exactly what life on the spectrum can be like and why someone with Aspergers Syndrome functions in their own special way.The book can be found at either of these links.......http://www.johnrobison.com/http://www.rbooks.co.uk/product.aspx?id=0091924693 The Blue Room Forum, A place for anyone involved with or affected by Autism and Asperger Syndrome.
