Hello all.
Well im 23 and a mum to 2 boys. The eldest, Mikey, has autism and dispraxia, the youngest, Kyle, has high bp problems.
I have a husband that is not Mikey’s dad but is as good as.
Mikey was diagnosed back in 2005 and it took a long time for the diagnosis as the main dr we saw was convinced it was a speech problem.
The family is currently going through our toughest year yet and it aint getting any easier as yet.
Currently awaiting to hear about an ARB at a mainstreem school as Mikeys current school cannot handle him.
If anyone would like to chat or share info please feel free to, it would be nice to have someone to talk to who knows what it is like to bring up a child with autism.
