      Hi, my name is Jen, I am 29, I live near Watford (Herts) and I have Aspergers syndrome. I am interested in making connections with other Aspies and hearing about their experiences, especially girls, as this is an area which is misunderstood by a great many 'experts'.A bit about me: I currently work in retail but would like to be a careers advisor for people with learning difficulties. I love music and funky accessories. Ummmmm I've always liked writing fiction (and making up fictional stuff generally) and I am currently working on a new story series (plug plug). My 'preoccupations/intense interests' , to quote the textbooks, mainly centre on characters and personalities seen on tv/film (Tony Attwood described this phenomenon). However I must emphasize that I am NOT a stalker, and don't like being compared to one. One thing I am wondering about is flat-sharing. Are there any organisations which help find flatshares for people with ASDs together? Or any forums on any other websites where people can talk about it and maybe get together? Or perhaps there are people on here who want to share with other people on the AS. I am particularly interested in sharing with people like myself (although I can basically get on with a wide range of people) because they will be understanding and not freak out at my Aspie behaviours or consider me 'weird'. Anyway, thats a bit about me. Bye!

      My name is waqar and I'd just like to say hi to everyone. As everybody knows that nowadays forums are the best source of Knowledge, and through forums we can learn a lot. When I heard of the community I thought it would be wonderful to expand to a new community, meet like minded people and share thoughts and services with fellow members.I am sure there's a lot of interesting topics and discussions happening on this forum and wanted to check it out.I was looking for a new forum to join and the higher powers of Google has brought me here!       Hi There Jen Im New here also I Have Autism (HFA) my cousin has Aspergers syndrome i write songs because my obsession is brutal death metal / heres some of my lyrics from one of my songs : MORDUMYour Life looks grim ,the devil mocks you ,he laughs as your gutted with broken glass ,the blood spills , you should have been carefull ,not to trust a group of strangers ,but were not quite finished yetI get most of my thoughts for songs from movies i have seen any way im not alowed to watch any of these movies any more as they drive me crazy (i went in mental hospitle for 8 mounths) but i carry on writeing my songs anyway well theres a little about me he... he...
