Dear all,
I am new here. I am the mother of a 19 year old male with Asperger’s. Diagnosis was in May (private) and I am looking for support networks to share experiences and learn more about Asperger’s. My son has become reclusive since leaving college in February. He doesn’t have meltdowns, but has shutdowns when very stressed. I am going to a carer’s day session organised by my local NAS branch in November and am hoping that will help shed some light about how best to support him.
