      Hi everyone!I'm about to start my third year at Goldsmiths (University of London) and have chosen to focus my dissertation on adults with autism, the services available to them and thoughts from parents, carers and professionsals on these services and the transition into the adult world. I'll be focussing on low-functioning autism.This is a topic i'm passion about, having worked in a special school for children with autism and with my end goal to teach children with autism. It is a topic i found particularly confusing and hope my research will go some way to shed light on the issues young adults with autism and the people around them face.I would really appreciate any thoughts and experiences you have encountered on services for young adults with (low- functioning) autism and the transition to adulthood.Many thanks for your time.
