Note: SFTAH transferred this from old data base when site was updated, thus date and name lost, all dates 2006 & 2007 changed during changeover to odd dates.Hello there,I am an enthusiastic 2o year old with a years experience tutoring a 4-5 year old with Autism using the verbal behaviour/ ABA approaches. By June 2008 I will have graduated with a Bsc in Psychology from the university of Exeter and I wish to continue tutoring after I graduate.I will soon be taking a course on ABA/VB assessment techniques so an established ABA program will not necessarily have to be in place, although I am more than willing to work within an existing programme. I enjoy creating a fun learning environment with a mix of natural environment therapy (NET) and discrete trial training. I am willing to work in a rpivate home or in a school environment and will be available to start work in June of next year.If anyone would like to find out more about my experience, feel free to email me for details. I look foward to hearing for you. Naomi

Hi,
my name is Christina,I just finished my Bsc Psychology studies and currently I am writing my thesis.I have been living in the UK for three years working for NHS in a residental home for people with Autism/learning disability. Before I came to the UK I worked as a motion- and behaviour therapy assistant with autistic children.I would like to be trained in ABA and bring it back to Hungary(where I came from) as there is not any access to these therapy.Hopefully I will start my postgraduate studies in ABA from October once a week.I am looking for a live in position with a family with an autistic child who is participating in an ABA programme. Then you get an ABA trained aupair and I get experience.I can use Makaton and will learn the PECS system in April.
I have ten years nanny experience working with hungarian, scottish, american, belgian children aged 10days to 6ys.I have first aid training and many more special need experience.
If I start my postgrad studies from Oct then I need Saturday as a day off to attend it.
If you are interested or know someone who are pls email me.
