      We are recruiting for a part-time position near Swansea, South Wales, working on a one-to-one basis with a bright, happy, 9 year old boy with Autistic Spectrum Disorder. The position will be available as of January 2010, working Thursdays and Fridays. Additional work is also available until February 22nd providing maternity cover on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.The job involves accompanying the child into a small mainstream primary school, providing support with academic and social activities throughout the school day, and then working with the child after school in his home environment, as part of a structured therapy programme supervised by the UK Young Autism Project.Previous experience is not required as full training can be given, however some knowledge of psychology, SEN or experience with autism would be useful.This job would provide ideal experience for anyone looking to further their career in ABA, teaching, educational or clinical psychology or child care.Please send me a private message with your email address for further information.
