ABA Therapist pre-school shadow required Tuesdays and Thursdays for 4-year old boy with autism Chelsea, London (SW3)A family are searching for an enthusiastic ABA therapist to work with their 4-year-old son who has a diagnosis of autism in a shadow role when he begins pre-school in September. Knowledge and experience of pivotal response treatment is preferable.The little boy is high functioning but particular attention will need to be paid to his fine motor skills, which need improvement. Another main area to address will be social communication skills. However most other developmental assessments are on target or above average for his age. He is a very happy, cheeky and energetic child!The child is currently supported by a Speech and Language and Occupational therapist. An ABA consultant will also be supporting the position to help with the transition from nursery to school.Working hours would be 08.30 – 15.30 on Tuesdays and 08.30 – 13.00 on Thursdays, this may be extended to 15.30 in the near future.Preschool location is in SW3 near Sloane Square Tube station.Hourly rate is negotiable and dependant on experience.First aid certificates, DBS checks and references will be required.Please send a C.V with a covering letter to davidhinman@abatutorfinder.com if you are interested in applying for this role.
