      ABA Team Leader role in Cheshire – Young adults with autism – Full time

      An innovative Company and Charity providing home and community based intervention programmes to families in Wilmslow, East Cheshire and Manchester are looking to recruit an ABA Team Leader to join their team.

      The ideal candidate for this post will be suitably qualified in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), have experience in overseeing teams of staff using ABA, and be excited about working in new and innovative ways to support the group of 19+ young people to maximise their potential.

      DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

       To deliver high quality ABA. This work will involve supervising staff to deliver individualised programmes for young adults with autism to enable them to pursue their ambitions in relation to further education, work, daily living and leisure. The objective being for individuals to live as independently as possible.

       This role may include working on a 1:1 basis with new clients to help assess and baseline, as well as modelling techniques for other members of the team.

       A major element of this role will be to design programs to facilitate young adults with the transitioning process from their home environment to supported living.

       There will be a requirement to work some evenings and weekends (regularly 2 slots per week as part of the working week).

      DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

       Experience in and knowledge of ABA and/or Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).

       Good working knowledge of various curriculums.

       Ambition to be a part of and grow with a pioneering North West based company.

       Drivers Licence and own transport required.

      COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS PACKAGE:
       Salary range – £26,800 to £29,000 – Negotiable and dependant on experience (includes unsociable hours payments)

       28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays)

       Regular access to clinical support from in-house Behavioural Analysis Consultant.

       BCaBA and BCBA coursework supervision (where applicable). This will be supported externally.
