Hi Tubbs,
Whilst it goes against the ‘popular thinking’ of no tv’s/computers in bedrooms, our fifteen year old, high functioning, autistic son always sleeps with his tv on, by his bed. Whilst he has never slept particularly well we find it takes the emphasis away from lying down and waiting to sleep which we found caused him problems settling. With the tv on he watches and then falls asleep whilst watching, if he wakes he watches some more and then sleeps again.
I appreciate it may not be something you want to try but it works for us.
Good Luck.
Dave.
