ABA Tutor needed Thursday + Friday 3- 7pm after school – East Sheen, London (SW14)
ABA Tutor Finder are looking for a therapist with ABA experience to work with a 11-year old boy who has physical and learning disabilities. His physical difficulties include cerebral palsy and epilepsy, although he is able to walk and do some actions unaided. His learning – especially his processing speed – is severely affected and his speech, while clear at time, needs prompting to communicate his needs. He is otherwise a sociable, highly active, but anxious boy. He requires the input of a behavioural support team at home and at school that uses Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) strategies, for which on-going training is provided.
He lives at home with his parents and sibling in East Sheen (SW14) and his parents are looking for someone they can trust to work on the home programme they have set up after school. The therapist would ideally also collect him from school in Chelsea although all availabilities will be considered.
The successful candidate will ideally have some experience as an ABA tutor.
Hourly rate is £15ph (negotiable and dependant on experience).
