It took me thirty years to get a diagnosis, but the advice I can give is this, DEMAND to see a specialist,those that shout loudest get heard quickest, I didn’t, I belong to a differant era so it was considered bad manners to shout and ball,but I wouldn’t do the same again.Also as Just jo has said, write everything down who said what to who and why.Tell your GP that you suspect A/S and you need to see a specialist NOW.
